Nitrogen Generator System Overview
The nitrogen system is designed based on technical requirements and on-site usage conditions. The complete nitrogen generation equipment consists of air compressors, cold dryers, filters, air storage tanks, and the nitrogen generator unit.
Process Principle: Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)
Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production uses clean, dry compressed air as raw material. It employs a high-efficiency solid adsorbent (carbon molecular sieve) to selectively adsorb oxygen. Since oxygen molecules are smaller and diffuse faster into the molecular sieve than nitrogen, nitrogen-rich gas is collected. When the sieve reaches saturation, pressure is reduced to release the adsorbed oxygen, a process called regeneration. By using two towers in parallel, the system provides a continuous nitrogen stream.

Frequently Asked Questions
What nitrogen purity can the PSA system achieve?
The system is capable of producing high-purity nitrogen up to 99.99%, suitable for precision industries like laser cutting and food packaging.
How does the PSA process separate nitrogen from oxygen?
It uses carbon molecular sieves that preferentially adsorb oxygen molecules due to their smaller diameter and faster diffusion rate, leaving nitrogen-rich gas to be collected.
Is the nitrogen generator fully automated?
Yes, the system runs fully automatically and can be unattended, with integrated recording features to monitor working status at any time.
What are the main components of a complete nitrogen system?
A standard system includes an air compressor, cold dryer, filters, an air storage tank, and the PSA nitrogen generator unit.
Can the nitrogen output pressure be adjusted?
Yes, the standard nitrogen pressure is 0.6MPa, but it is typically adjustable within a range of 0.1 to 0.6MPa to suit specific needs.
What makes the "Blizzard" type loading technology advantageous?
It ensures optimal density and uniform distribution of molecular sieves, which improves gas separation efficiency and extends the service life of the adsorbent.
